A healthcare facility in Northern Indiana is seeking a skilled Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment with the potential to extend. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care in a 250-bed community hospital setting. The position requires a professional who is comfortable working flexible schedules and is open to travel.

Location:

• Mishawaka, IN (near South Bend, IN)

Schedule:

• 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
• 2nd shift hours: 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Possible alternative schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify inpatient medication orders efficiently and accurately
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure quality and compliance
• Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize pharmacotherapy
• Manage pharmacokinetics and tailor medication plans accordingly
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in the applicable state or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience in inpatient pharmacy settings, preferably within community hospitals
• Strong knowledge of medication management, pharmacokinetics, and patient consultation
