Pharmacist - South Bend, IN

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist seeking a travel assignment in a community hospital setting. The role is based near Mishawaka, IN, at a 250-bed hospital serving Northern Indiana. This 13-week contract position offers a chance to apply your clinical skills in a dynamic environment with an option to extend.

Schedule/Hours:

• 4 ten-hour shifts per week
• Second shift hours: 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Potential for a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule

Responsibilities include inpatient pharmacy duties such as:

• Verification of medication orders
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Collaborating and consulting with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapies
• Applying pharmacokinetics principles to optimize patient care

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist license to practice in Indiana
• Experience working in an inpatient hospital pharmacy environment
