Pharmacist - South Bend, Indiana

A 13-week assignment is available for a traveling pharmacist at a 250-bed community hospital located in Northern Indiana. This contract position offers an opportunity to engage in a dynamic inpatient pharmacy environment supporting a collaborative healthcare team.

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• 2nd shift hours: 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Potential for a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, depending on candidate preference and departmental needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles in patient medication management
• Contribute to overall inpatient pharmacy service excellence

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Indiana pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience, preferably with inpatient exposure
