Pharmacist in South Bend, IN

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a pharmacist in a 250-bed community hospital located in Northern Indiana, serving the Mishawaka area. This role primarily involves inpatient responsibilities and offers potential for extension beyond the initial assignment.

Schedule and Hours:

• 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
• 2nd shift hours from 1:00 pm to 10:30 pm
• Possible variation to a 7-on, 7-off schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Perform pharmacokinetic evaluations and dosing adjustments as needed

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Indiana
