Pharmacist - Sparks, Nevada

A 175-bed hospital in Sparks, NV, is seeking a Night Shift Pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment utilizing EPIC and Pyxis systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate order verification to ensure patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and coordinate workflow
• Consult with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapies
• Manage pharmacokinetics and provide expert drug information
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and state regulations

Schedule:

• 7 nights on, 7 nights off
• 10-hour night shifts

Qualifications:

• Valid Nevada Pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts effectively
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

This position is available to start as soon as possible, with a contract duration of at least 13 weeks. Candidates must be able to commit to the night shift schedule and adapt to the fast-paced hospital environment.
