Pharmacist - Spring Creek, Nevada

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to provide inpatient pharmacy services at a small hospital with approximately 50 beds in Elko, NV. This role begins ASAP and involves day shifts working 10-hour hours with the potential for a 7-on/7-off schedule.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Consulting closely with physicians and nurses on medication therapies and patient care
• Managing pharmacokinetics and adjusting dosing as appropriate
• Supporting all inpatient pharmacy staffing duties to maintain quality patient care

The ideal candidate will possess:

• An active Nevada pharmacist license
• Prior inpatient pharmacy experience, which is highly desirable
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with healthcare teams
• Attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety
