Pharmacist | Spring, Texas

A high-volume pharmacy is seeking a Production Pharmacist for a 13-week temp-to-perm role located in Spring, TX. This position operates on first shift hours, Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Ideal candidates will thrive in fast-paced settings and effectively manage a rapidly increasing prescription volume, currently averaging up to 22,000 scripts per day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire prescription fulfillment process, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and team members.
• Monitor, receive, and manage pharmacy inventory, including specialized refrigerated and bulk medications.
• Conduct thorough Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR) and maintain accurate documentation using pharmacy systems.
• Package and prepare prescriptions for shipment or site injection, maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, clear, and active Texas Pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacist.
• Ability to perform confidently in a high-volume environment.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software such as LifeFile and PK Software is preferred.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM
