Pharmacist | Spring, Texas

A well-established, high-volume hospital with over 500 beds in the Texas Medical Center is seeking a skilled pharmacist to support its inpatient pharmacy operations. This contract role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment that requires excellent clinical judgment and attention to detail.

Location: Spring, TX
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks + opportunity for temp-to-hire)
Schedule:

• 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM
• 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately for inpatient care in a large hospital setting
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor and manage medication therapies, including IV compounding if applicable
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record systems to document and review medication orders
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Texas pharmacist license
• Texas IV certification required
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in inpatient pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system preferred
