A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to support pharmaceutical services in a large, bustling 500+ bed hospital located in a premier medical district in Texas. This role is ideal for an experienced professional ready to contribute in a fast-paced inpatient setting.
Location: Spring, TX (Texas Medical Center vicinity)
Schedule/Hours:
- 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM
- 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks with the potential to transition to a permanent position
Responsibilities:
- Dispense and manage medications in accordance with hospital protocols and patient needs
- Provide clinical pharmacy services on inpatient units, collaborating closely with medical and nursing staff
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records to optimize medication therapy and ensure accurate documentation
- Monitor patient responses and adjust medication therapies as needed in coordination with healthcare teams
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital standards
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current Texas pharmacist license required
- Texas IV certification necessary
- Minimum of 3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
- EPIC system experience preferred
