Pharmacist in Spring, TX

A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to support pharmaceutical services in a large, bustling 500+ bed hospital located in a premier medical district in Texas. This role is ideal for an experienced professional ready to contribute in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Location: Spring, TX (Texas Medical Center vicinity)

Schedule/Hours:

• 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM
• 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks with the potential to transition to a permanent position

Responsibilities:

• Dispense and manage medications in accordance with hospital protocols and patient needs
• Provide clinical pharmacy services on inpatient units, collaborating closely with medical and nursing staff
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records to optimize medication therapy and ensure accurate documentation
• Monitor patient responses and adjust medication therapies as needed in coordination with healthcare teams
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital standards

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current Texas pharmacist license required
• Texas IV certification necessary
• Minimum of 3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
• EPIC system experience preferred
