Per Diem Pharmacist | Spring, Texas

Provide expert pharmaceutical care as a Pharmacist offering PRN coverage in Spring, TX. This per diem opportunity involves working the first shift from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, starting February 16th. The role requires careful dispensing of medications and ensuring safe, efficient delivery to patients under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications while adhering to safety protocols.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use and therapeutic regimens.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Manage stock levels, controlled substances records, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Resolve issues related to patient medication coverage, including third-party insurance clarifications.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in Texas.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in retail pharmacy or a 340B pharmacy setting.
• Strong communication skills with a patient-focused approach.
