This opportunity is for a Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations with a focus on evening shifts in Springfield, Missouri. The assignment is a 13-week contract with potential for extension and may convert to a permanent role based on performance and fit.

Location: Springfield, MO
Schedule: Evening shift, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM, working 7 days on followed by 7 days off (Thursday through Wednesday)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks, with strong potential for extension or temp-to-perm transition
Electronic Medical Record System: EPIC

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate workflow within the central pharmacy to ensure timely and accurate medication distribution
• Verify medication products including IV solutions, premade IVs, creams, and insulin pens
• Check code carts for completeness and accuracy
• Supervise and provide direction to pharmacy technicians, ensuring efficient task prioritization and workflow management

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Missouri (new graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively within the pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system is preferred but not mandatory
