Pharmacist | Springfield, Missouri

A contract pharmacist position is available with two openings for an evening shift in Springfield, MO. This role requires working from 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM on a schedule of seven days on, seven days off, Thursday through Wednesday. The initial assignment length is 13 weeks, with a strong possibility of extension and potential for conversion to permanent employment.

Key responsibilities include coordinating workflow within the central pharmacy, verifying medication products such as IVs, premade IVs, creams, and insulin pens, as well as checking code carts. The pharmacist will oversee the workflow of surrounding pharmacy technicians, occasionally directing their tasks to ensure efficient pharmacy operations. The position utilizes the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Desired Qualifications: • Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Missouri (MO Pharmacist license required)
