Pharmacist - Stafford, TX

A rapidly growing 503a/b compounding pharmacy in Stafford, Texas is seeking an Overnight Compounding Pharmacist to join their expanding team on a 13-week temp-to-perm basis. This high-volume facility compounds specialized medications, including GLP-1s and weight loss treatments, and has seen daily prescription volumes surge from approximately 6,000 to 22,000. The third shift operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Schedule/Hours:

• Overnight, 3rd shift
• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare customized medications following prescriptions and compounding standards with precision and care
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacy team members
• Maintain accurate records of formulations, ingredients, and inventory management
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and timely service
• Stay current with pharmaceutical trends and advancements in compounding techniques

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in Texas is mandatory
• Minimum of 1 year experience in sterile compounding
• Proficiency with LifeFile and PK pharmacy software preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume compounding environment
