Pharmacist in Stafford, TX

A high-volume pharmacy operation in Stafford, Texas, is seeking a Production Pharmacist for a 13-week temp-to-perm assignment. This role focuses on managing prescription fulfillment efficiently while maintaining strict compliance with all regulatory and legal standards. You will be an essential part of a team processing between 6,000 and 22,000 prescriptions daily, requiring sharp attention to accuracy, organization, and time management.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift
• Monday to Friday
• 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end prescription fulfillment process, ensuring compliance with pharmacy policies and legal regulations
• Communicate clearly with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacy staff to ensure understanding and optimal care
• Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory, including refrigerated and bulk medications, while adhering to safety standards
• Conduct thorough Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR) and document findings accurately in pharmacy software systems (LifeFile, PK Software)
• Prepare and package prescriptions for shipment or on-site injections

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in Texas
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Pharmacist
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy setting
