Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide patient consultations and medication information to customers
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy rules and regulations
• Receive and manage medication orders from wholesalers
• Perform sterile compounding and medication reconstitution
• Manage unit dosing and remove medications approaching expiration
• Conduct regular audits and billing tasks as required
• Supervise pharmacy technician staff to maintain smooth pharmacy operations
• Utilize Cerner order entry system, with training provided

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current pharmacist license required
• Familiarity with sterile compounding and reconstitution methods
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and procedures
• Ability to supervise and guide pharmacy technicians effectively
• Experience with Cerner system preferred; training available
