Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders using EPIC, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Supervise and check pharmacy technician work.
• Respond promptly to pharmacist phone inquiries.
• Dispense inpatient and outpatient IV medications, unit dose meds, and chemotherapy treatments.
• Support a patient census averaging 30-40 inpatients across various departments.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist licensure.
• Experience with inpatient pharmacy operations.
• Proficiency in EPIC Pharmacy system preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills to interact with healthcare teams.

Schedule:

• Primarily 10-hour day shifts.
• Weekend rotations involve 8-hour day shifts.
• Start date is ASAP.
• Assignment duration: 13 weeks or longer.
