A specialty pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care combining retail and long-term care services. Location: Wadena, MN
Type: Contract (13+ weeks)
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Closed on weekends

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately while ensuring compliance with regulations
• Provide long-term care pharmacist services tailored to patient needs
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize therapy outcomes
• Administer immunizations and educate patients about medication management
• Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) and patient counseling
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Minnesota
• Immunization Certification required
• CPR Certification
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or certified in Medication Therapy Management
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to balance retail and long-term care pharmacy duties
