Pharmacist - State College, Pennsylvania

This opportunity is for a full-time Pharmacist position at a retail pharmacy located in Mill Hall, PA. As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will ensure the accurate dispensing of prescriptions while supporting clinical programs to enhance patient care and drive business growth. Responsibilities:

• Verify prescription accuracy and appropriateness by conducting thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance checks in compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Promote and support clinical initiatives such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) to contribute to improved patient outcomes and increased prescription volume
• Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to manage inventory control, track sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to fulfill customer needs efficiently
• Align daily operations with key departmental performance metrics focused on effectiveness and efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
