Travel Pharmacist in State College, PA

An immediate opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to work in a hospital setting serving a community of approximately 150 beds. This travel role requires a candidate who can start as soon as possible and commit to a 6 to 8-month assignment in State College, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring quality and compliance
• Consult with physicians and healthcare team to optimize patient medication therapy
• Utilize hospital information systems including Meditech, PharmacyKeeper, and Pyxis for medication management and documentation

Desired Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience
• Familiarity or experience with Meditech strongly preferred
• Commitment to full-time availability with flexibility in shift scheduling, including variable days and afternoons
