Pharmacist - Stevens Point, Wisconsin

This opportunity is suited for a licensed Pharmacist ready to support hospital pharmacy operations in a vibrant healthcare environment. The role is based in Marshfield, WI, at a 250-bed facility, offering a valuable chance to engage with diverse patient needs and advanced hospital pharmacy systems. Starting as soon as possible, this contract assignment is scheduled for 13 weeks or more, providing both stability and flexibility.

Schedule:

• Work 7 days on, 7 days off
• Rotate between 2nd shift (12:00 PM to 10:00 PM) and 3rd shift (9:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Typical work week begins on Wednesday

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, dispense, and review medications accurately in line with hospital protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems to ensure efficient pharmacy operations
• Monitor inventory and maintain compliance with safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license or willingness to obtain an Act 10 temporary license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Competence in using Cerner and Omnicell systems
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
