Pharmacist | Stevens Point, Wisconsin

Provide expert pharmaceutical care in a 250-bed hospital setting, supporting patient health and medication management. This 13+ week contract position begins as soon as possible and offers a dynamic work schedule with rotating shifts to meet hospital needs.

Location: Marshfield, WI
Schedule/Hours:

• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Rotate between 2nd shift (12:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and 3rd shift (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Workweek typically starts on Wednesday

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and ensure compliance with hospital standards
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation
• Participate in hospital rounds and provide drug information and education to medical staff
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain accurate medication records

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Wisconsin or willingness to obtain an Act 10 temporary license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
