Pharmacist in Stevens Point, WI

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a small 40-bed hospital in Northern Central Wisconsin. This role supports inpatient and outpatient pharmacy needs in a dynamic, fast-paced environment requiring strong multitasking and clinical skills.

Location: Northern Central Wisconsin

Schedule:

• 4x10-hour shifts per week, days 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, rotating weekends
• Option for a blocked schedule such as 7 days on, 7 days off, day shifts

Duration: 13+ weeks, with an ASAP start date

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple concurrent tasks in a central inpatient pharmacy setting
• Verify orders through EPIC and review technician work for accuracy
• Respond to pharmacist phone calls and collaborate with healthcare teams
• Prepare and provide inpatient and outpatient IV medications, inpatient unit dose meds, and outpatient chemotherapy
• Support a patient census averaging 30-40 in inpatient units including Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, ED, outpatient oncology, and surgery

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with experience in inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations
• Proficient with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with chemotherapy and IV preparation preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
