Per Diem Pharmacist in Stratford, TX

Provide pharmaceutical care as a PRN Travel Pharmacist at a rural community health center serving mainly patients over the age of 50. This per diem opportunity runs from July 15th through July 31st, offering a chance to work in a close-knit setting with experienced pharmacy technicians supporting daily operations.

Location: Stratford, TX
Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
• Friday: 9:00am - 4:00pm
• No weekend shifts

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify prescriptions for approximately 120-130 scripts per day
• Provide patient counseling tailored to the needs of an older patient population
• Oversee and manage pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety
• Utilize the Liberty pharmacy system for order processing and documentation

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Texas pharmacist license required
• Experience in community health or retail pharmacy preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a small rural pharmacy
• Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with a team of pharmacy technicians
