Pharmacist - Stuart, Florida

A community hospital in Stuart, FL is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a night shift role. This is a contract position supporting a 200-bed facility, providing crucial pharmaceutical care and leadership during overnight hours. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends for at least 13 weeks.

Schedule:

• Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
• Consult closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient therapy
• Utilize Meditech and Pyxis systems for medication management and documentation

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Pharmacist license required
• Prior experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy practice
• Comfortable and willing to work overnight shifts
• Strong communication skills and clinical knowledge
