Schedule and Duration:
- Variable days and afternoons with a combination of 8- and 10-hour shifts
- Flexible scheduling options to accommodate work-life balance
- Contract to hire arrangement
- Immediate start, initially for 13 weeks with potential extension
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders ensuring safety and accuracy
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
- Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapies
- Utilize EPIC for electronic health records and Pyxis for medication dispensing systems
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Virginia pharmacist license
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
