Pharmacist in Sulphur, LA

This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with specialty pharmacy or retail experience ready to provide essential coverage during a maternity leave period. The role is based in a supportive specialty pharmacy environment managing an average of 600 prescriptions per month.

Location:

• Lake Charles, LA

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call duties

Qualifications & Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in Louisiana, in good standing
• Experience in specialty pharmacy or retail pharmacy settings
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small pharmacy team

Responsibilities:

• Execute standard staff pharmacist duties, including dispensing and patient consultation
• Support the current pharmacy team consisting of one pharmacist, one technician, and one liaison
• Utilize the Epic Willow Ambulatory (Epic WAM) system for prescription order entry and management
• Participate in a 1-2 week training period prior to coverage starting in early May
