This opportunity is for an experienced pharmacist to provide night shift coverage at a 175-bed hospital. The position offers a 13-week contract with a schedule of 7 nights on and 7 nights off, working 10-hour shifts. The hospital utilizes EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication management systems, providing a modern clinical environment to practice.

Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians and nurses on medication-related matters, and managing pharmacokinetics services. The pharmacist plays a vital role in ensuring safe and effective medication use during the night shift.

Qualifications:

• Active Nevada pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Comfortable working night shifts and independently managing responsibilities
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems is a strong asset
