Pharmacist - Sun Valley, NV

A 13-week+ night shift pharmacist opportunity is available at a 175-bed hospital in the Reno area. This contract assignment offers a 7-on, 7-off schedule with 10-hour shifts, designed for pharmacists who excel in a dynamic hospital setting and are ready to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include:

• Order verification to ensure accurate medication dispensing
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and compliance
• Consulting and collaborating with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapy
• Applying pharmacokinetics knowledge for individualized patient care
• Utilizing IT systems such as EPIC and Pyxis efficiently

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Nevada pharmacist license
• Proven hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently during night shifts
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems is highly beneficial
• Demonstrated ability to manage a fast-paced environment and critical decision-making

Schedule:

• Night shifts, 7 consecutive nights on followed by 7 nights off
• 10-hour shifts per night
