Per Diem Pharmacist in Sunray, TX

This position offers the opportunity to serve as a Pharmacist in a small, rural community health center focused on supporting patients primarily over the age of 50. The setting provides a close-knit environment with a manageable script volume, enabling meaningful patient interactions and a collaborative team dynamic.

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide patient counseling to support medication understanding and adherence
• Manage and collaborate with two experienced pharmacy technicians
• Utilize the Liberty system for daily operations
• Support the unique needs of an older patient population

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Texas pharmacist license required
• Experience in community health or retail pharmacy preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to supervise and coordinate with pharmacy technicians effectively

Schedule and Location:

• Location: Sunray, TX
• Shift: 1st shift
• Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Script volume: 120-130 prescriptions per day
