Schedule:

• 7 nights on, 7 nights off
• 10-hour shifts
• Immediate start
• Approximately 8 weeks in duration

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide patient consultations and medication information to customers
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of pharmacy rules and regulations
• Receive and process medication orders from wholesalers
• Perform sterile compounding and med reconstitution as needed
• Manage unit dosing and monitor medication expiration dates by removing outdated stock
• Conduct audits and billing functions within scope of pharmacist licensure
• Supervise and support pharmacy technician staff
• Utilize Cerner order entry system (training provided)
