Travel Pharmacist in Sutherland, NE

A well-established independent community pharmacy is seeking a full-time retail pharmacist to support an increased prescription volume at their Ogallala, Nebraska location. This travel opportunity spans 13 weeks and offers a chance to work within a tight-knit, experienced team dedicated to patient care and quality service.

Location: Ogallala, NE
Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Some weekends as needed
• 1st shift

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently under the supervision of the pharmacy manager.
• Counsel patients on medication use and regimen adherence.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and according to policy.
• Maintain stock levels and manage controlled substance records and inventories.
• Resolve patient issues and clarify insurance coverage questions.
• Administer immunizations as authorized.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and clear pharmacist license to practice in Nebraska.
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience required; retail background preferred.
• Proficiency with Liberty Rx software is beneficial.

Additional Information:
The pharmacy currently fills over 10,000 prescriptions monthly and maintains a well-trained team including multiple pharmacists and technicians to support workflow. As the pharmacy prepares to open a second location, this role presents potential for future advancement, including transition to permanent roles or temporary-to-permanent arrangements.
