Pharmacist - Tampa, Florida

A compounding pharmacy in Tampa, FL is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers an opportunity to utilize your expertise in sterile compounding within a dynamic pharmacy setting. The contract may extend through the end of the year based on performance and mutual fit.

Location: Tampa, FL
Duration: Contract, possibly through the end of the year if expectations are met
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• 40 hours per week preferred
• Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday or Sunday, with one weekday off, depending on availability

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile compounding of medications according to established protocols and regulations
• Prepare prescriptions customized to patient-specific needs with high accuracy and care
• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with quality control procedures
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate medication formulations
• Uphold standards related to safety, cleanliness, and sterile environment maintenance

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Pharmacist License required
• Minimum of 1 year recent sterile compounding experience highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of USP <797> and <800> guidelines and compounding best practices
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling and work independently
