An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to provide critical pharmaceutical care in a close-knit hospital setting. This position supports a Critical Access Hospital with a patient census of up to 25, focusing on delivering high-quality inpatient pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
- Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
- Conduct pharmacokinetic monitoring and adjust therapies as needed
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico pharmacist license or eligibility for a temporary license
- Minimum of 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience, ideally within a hospital or similar setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively consult with healthcare teams
- Proficiency in medication order verification and pharmacokinetic principles

Schedule:
- Day shifts
