Pharmacist in Taos, NM

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to serve in a critical access hospital supporting a patient census of up to 25. This contract position is based in Taos, NM, offering an engaging role with a focus on inpatient care.

Responsibilities include verifying medication orders, supervising pharmacy technicians, and collaborating closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient outcomes. The role also involves applying pharmacokinetics principles to ensure safe and effective medication use.

Schedule:

• Day shifts
• Three 12-hour shifts per week (06:30 - 19:00)

Qualifications:

• Active New Mexico pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain a temporary license
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an inpatient setting
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
