A well-established closed-door long-term care (LTC) pharmacy located near Tecumseh, KS is seeking two Staff Pharmacists. This pharmacy specializes in shipping medications to nursing homes, handling a high volume of 800 to 1000 prescriptions daily, supported by a large team of over 50 employees. The positions are contract-based with an ongoing schedule.
Schedule and Hours:
- Thursdays and Fridays
- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform quality assurance (QA) activities to maintain compliance and accuracy.
- Conduct cycle checks on medication orders.
- Verify prescriptions ensuring safety and proper dispensing.
Qualifications:
- Active, clear Kansas Pharmacist License with no negative history.
- Minimum of one year of pharmacist experience; LTC experience preferred but both new graduates and those with retail experience are encouraged to apply.
- Available to start immediately.
