A well-established, large closed-door long-term care (LTC) pharmacy specializing in medication distribution to nursing homes is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join their team. This pharmacy processes 800-1000 prescriptions daily and operates with a robust staff of over 50 employees, providing a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform quality assurance (QA) checks to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Conduct cycle checking of medication orders
• Verify prescriptions with attention to detail and adherence to protocols
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

• Active Kansas Pharmacist License required
• Minimum of 1 year pharmacist experience; LTC experience preferred but recent graduates and those with retail background are encouraged to apply
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Availability to start immediately

Schedule:

• Work days: Thursdays & Fridays
• Shift hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
