A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a 150-bed community hospital in Nacogdoches, TX. This facility operates on an 8-hour shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and utilizes Cerner and Omnicell systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff in daily operations.
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapies and patient care.
• Prepare and verify IV admixtures, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Texas Pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 1 year current inpatient pharmacy experience.
