Hospital Inpatient Pharmacist - Toano, VA

This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist to support a psychiatric hospital facility in Williamsburg, VA. The position offers a Monday through Friday, 40-hour schedule with additional shifts available as needed to cover open hours. This contract role is expected to last at least 13 weeks or until a permanent pharmacist is hired.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and enter medication orders within the hospital system
• Manage automated dispensing machines efficiently
• Collaborate effectively with hospital administrators, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure safe and timely medication distribution
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and relevant regulatory requirements
• Provide expert pharmacy services in a psychiatric inpatient setting

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Virginia pharmacist license required
• Experience working in hospital or inpatient pharmacy settings preferred
