Per Diem Pharmacist - Toledo, OR

A retail and long-term care pharmacy location in Newport, OR is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide expert medication distribution and customer service. This role requires a licensed Pharmacist dedicated to maintaining high standards of pharmaceutical care while supporting patients' medication needs.

Location: Newport, OR
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, February 23–27, 2026
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (9 hours daily)

Responsibilities:

• Accurately distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other healthcare providers
• Provide clear, informative counseling to patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and safety
• Deliver exceptional customer service to promote patient understanding and compliance
• Support retail and long-term care pharmacy operations by ensuring compliance with regulations and policies

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Oregon Pharmacist license required
• Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
