Per Diem Pharmacist in Topsfield, ME

A Maine-licensed pharmacist is needed on a per diem basis to support the opening of two new pharmacies by assisting with the Inspection and DEA compliance process. This critical role ensures that regulatory standards are met effectively during the launch phase.

Location:

• 136 Mill St, Princeton, ME 04668
• Onsite only during scheduled inspection dates

Schedule:

• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Includes a half-hour lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional pharmacy services during the inspection and DEA approval processes
• Assist regulatory personnel by providing required documentation and answering questions related to pharmacy operations
• Support operational readiness to successfully open two new pharmacy locations
• Collaborate with the team to maintain compliance with applicable pharmacy laws and regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and active Maine Pharmacist license
• Licensed pharmacist must be working as a staff pharmacist, not as a Pharmacist In Charge or Pharmacy Manager, to ensure licensure is available for this role
• Experience in pharmacy operations and familiarity with DEA inspection standards is desirable
• Ability to be onsite during inspection dates; availability is essential for the duration of two months or longer if required

Compensation and Benefits:

• Stipend of $500.00 for the period of up to two months or longer depending on assignment needs
