Pharmacist - Torrance, CA

A hospital pharmacy opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists to support inpatient care within a large public health system. This contract role offers variable afternoon shifts, working four 10-hour days per week, providing flexibility within a structured schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, dispense, and counsel on medications for inpatient populations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

• Participate in inventory management and medication safety initiatives

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist licensure
• Preference for candidates with PGY1 residency or approximately two years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Commitment to accuracy, patient safety, and professional integrity
• Ability to successfully complete a competency exam essential to onboarding
• Willingness to undergo Livescan background check
