Pharmacy professionals are needed to provide expert inpatient pharmaceutical care at a major Los Angeles County Department of Health hospital. Location:
- Situated in Torrance, CA at a renowned county medical center
Schedule:
- Variable days and afternoons
- 4 shifts of 10 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective pharmacy services in an inpatient setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
- Adhere to county policies and procedures, maintaining regulatory compliance
- Prepare for and successfully pass a competency exam required for onboarding
Qualifications:
- Pharmacists with a PGY1 residency or approximately two years of recent inpatient experience are highly preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient care excellence
- Ability to undergo and pass a rigorous competency assessment (one opportunity)
- Willingness to complete a Livescan background check as part of onboarding
