A hospital pharmacy team near Torrance, CA is seeking skilled pharmacists to support inpatient operations at a major county health system. This long-term contract role offers variable shifts working four 10-hour days per week, primarily afternoons.

Near Torrance, CA – within a Los Angeles County Department of Health hospital network
Schedule:
- Variable days/afternoons
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmaceutical care and medication management for inpatient populations
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
- Participate in competency testing as part of onboarding
Qualifications:
- Licensed pharmacist with a minimum of approximately 2 years of inpatient experience or completion of PGY-1 residency preferred
- Strong clinical skills with ability to work independently
- Successful completion of a one-time competency exam is required before starting
- Ability to pass Livescan background check
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care and operational efficiency
