A hospital pharmacy team near Torrance, CA is seeking skilled pharmacists to support inpatient operations at a major county health system. This long-term contract role offers variable shifts working four 10-hour days per week, primarily afternoons.

Schedule:

• Variable days/afternoons
• Four 10-hour shifts per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmaceutical care and medication management for inpatient populations
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Participate in competency testing as part of onboarding

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with a minimum of approximately 2 years of inpatient experience or completion of PGY-1 residency preferred
• Strong clinical skills with ability to work independently
• Successful completion of a one-time competency exam is required before starting
• Ability to pass Livescan background check
• Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care and operational efficiency
