A Travel Pharmacist opportunity is available within a large county health system in Southern California. This role is ideal for a permanent-placement-caliber pharmacist with strong inpatient experience, offering the opportunity to gain experience within a major public health system while supporting a busy hospital pharmacy.
Position Details
- Schedule: Variable days/afternoons, 4x10-hour shifts per week
- Pay: 55/hr Non-PGY1 61/hr PGY1
- Experience: PGY1 or approximately 2 years of current inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
- Interview: On-site
Responsibilities
- Perform typical inpatient pharmacist duties
- Verify medication orders
- Provide clinical pharmacy support
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy and healthcare team
Requirements
- Strong recent inpatient pharmacy experience
- PGY1 or approximately 2 years of current inpatient experience preferred
- Ability to complete required competency testing and background screening
- Must successfully complete all onboarding requirements prior to starting
