Pharmacist in Towson, MD

A health center with multiple in-house pharmacies is seeking a full-time pharmacist to provide coverage during a planned leave of absence. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic outpatient pharmacy environment serving a diverse patient population.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays

Contract Duration:
Starts June 22, approximately 2 to 3 months

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee typical outpatient pharmacy duties, including patient counseling and medication management
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians
• Administer vaccines and immunizations as required
• Support fast-paced workflow while ensuring accuracy and quality care

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience, capable of thriving in a busy environment
• Strong knowledge of 340B program preferred
• Spanish language skills are a plus but not mandatory
• Experience with or willingness to train on ScriptPro pharmacy software
• Ability to provide excellent patient care and maintain effective communication
