Per Diem Pharmacist - Towson, Maryland

A per diem opportunity is available for a Retail Pharmacist to provide coverage in Baltimore, Maryland on August 13 and August 18. This role involves delivering quality pharmaceutical care by ensuring accurate dispensing and patient counseling during the first shift from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Experience with Pioneer software is beneficial for managing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately under the manager’s supervision, ensuring patient safety.
• Counsel and advise patients on medication use and treatment regimens.
• Respond to patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain stock and controlled drug records and inventories.
• Clarify third-party coverage issues and resolve patient problems effectively.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in the state of Maryland (clear and valid).
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience.
• Proficiency with Pioneer pharmacy software preferred.
