A retail pharmacy opening requires a licensed Pharmacist for coverage on August 13 and 18 in Towson, Maryland. This per diem role focuses on ensuring safe, accurate medication dispensing and excellent patient care during daytime hours.

Schedule:

• August 13 & 18
• 1st Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  Software: Pioneer

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately under direct supervision from the pharmacy manager
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and regimens to promote safe and effective therapy
• Address patient questions and concerns professionally, following organizational policies
• Maintain proper inventories, including controlled drug records
• Resolve patient issues and clarify insurance coverage or third-party benefits

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in the state of Maryland
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail in medication dispensing
• Familiarity with pharmacy software, preferably Pioneer
