Pharmacist in Trumann, AR

A Clinical IV Pharmacist position is available with a contract-to-hire opportunity lasting approximately 3 to 6 months. This role is based in Trumann, AR, with a structured work schedule that ensures work-life balance.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Every third weekend on call

Responsibilities:

• Verify intravenous (IV) medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare IV medications in the clean room as needed, adhering to sterile protocols
• Perform various clinical duties, including reviewing and interpreting lab results to support patient care
• Provide flexible support across departments, assisting where clinical pharmacy expertise is required

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of one year of current experience as an IV pharmacist
• Active, unrestricted Arkansas pharmacist license
• Clean background check and drug screening results
• Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to interpret laboratory data effectively
• Adaptability to assist in multiple areas within the pharmacy environment
