This opportunity is for a Pharmacist position based in Tuba City, AZ, offering a 13-week contract role with an immediate start. The position supports both the main campus and satellite clinics, delivering comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services to a broad patient population including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric cases. Experience with the Allscripts EMR system is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and clinical pharmacy services in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Ensure pharmacy operations comply with organizational policies, maintaining consistent service quality.
  • Work rotational shifts including day, evening, night, weekends, and holidays.
  • Participate in career advancement opportunities from Pharmacist to Advanced Practice Pharmacist levels.
  • Advanced Practice Pharmacist duties may include managing specialized pharmacy clinics, clinical program development, policy administration, and supervision of pharmacy staff.
  • Serve as Clinic Manager of Operations for designated clinics, overseeing pharmacy professionals and support staff.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution.
  • Current, valid, and unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. state, territory, or D.C.
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a Registered Pharmacist.
  • At least one year of clinical pharmacy experience.
  • Successful completion and clearance of fingerprinting prior to start.

Location: Tuba City, Arizona – a culturally rich environment situated on the Colorado Plateau, serving the Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute communities.
