Pharmacist - Tuba City, Arizona

A 13-week contract opportunity exists for a Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services at the main campus and satellite clinics of a regional healthcare organization located in Northwestern Arizona. This role delivers direct patient care across diverse populations including neo-natal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients, ensuring adherence to established policies and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services in inpatient and outpatient settings using the Allscripts EMR system.
• Work rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Advance through pharmacist tiers up to Advanced Practice Pharmacist levels, with responsibilities expanding to managing specialized pharmacy clinics and analyzing clinical service programs.
• Administer policies and procedures aligned with organizational mission, vision, and values.
• Serve as Clinic Manager of Operations for designated clinics, supervising professional and non-professional pharmacy staff including Advanced Practice Pharmacists, Staff Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Assistants, and Pharmacy Billers.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-recognized institution.
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacy license in any U.S. state, territory, or District of Columbia.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum two years as a Registered Pharmacist.
• Minimum one year experience as a Clinical Pharmacist.
• Successful completion of fingerprinting and background clearance prior to start.
