An opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists to provide critical care at a 200-bed hospital in Tucson, AZ. This role involves working night shifts on a 7-on, 7-off schedule from Wednesday through Tuesday. The position starts ASAP and spans 13 weeks, with the potential to convert to a temp-to-hire arrangement.

Responsibilities include collaborating closely with physicians on drug selection and dosing, educating nursing staff, patients, and physicians about medications, and leading medication safety initiatives. You will manage patient profiles, help prevent and report adverse drug reactions, prepare IV admixtures and nutritional supplements, and oversee narcotic accountability.

Ideal candidates will have a solid background in hospital pharmacy practice with strong communication skills and attention to detail to ensure optimal medication management and patient safety.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with relevant hospital pharmacy experience
• Ability to collaborate with healthcare teams and provide education on medications
• Skilled in managing medication safety programs and adverse reaction reporting
• Experience preparing IV admixtures and managing narcotics
