A hospital-based pharmacist role is available at a 200-bed medical center in Tucson, AZ. This contract position requires two full-time night pharmacists to provide expert pharmaceutical care during a 7-on, 7-off schedule from Wednesday through Tuesday.

Responsibilities include collaborating closely with physicians on medication selection and dosing, educating nursing staff, patients, and physicians on medication use, and leading medication safety initiatives. You will also manage patient profiles, identify and report adverse drug reactions, prepare IV admixtures and nutritional supplements, and maintain strict narcotic accountability.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of drug therapy, dosing, and medication safety protocols
• Skilled in educating healthcare professionals and patients
• Experience with IV admixture preparation and narcotic management
• Ability to work independently on night shifts with a flexible and collaborative approach
