Pharmacists are needed to support a 200-bed hospital located in Tucson, AZ. This 13-week contract opportunity offers shifts throughout the day, afternoon, and night, with a highly desirable 7-on/7-off night schedule available for candidates who prefer this rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with physicians to optimize drug selection and dosing.
• Provide education to nursing staff, patients, and physicians on medication usage and safety.
• Lead medication safety initiatives to ensure compliant and safe pharmaceutical practices.
• Manage patient medication profiles, identify and report adverse drug reactions.
• Prepare IV admixtures and nutritional supplements accurately.
• Maintain strict narcotic accountability and control measures.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist with valid credentials to practice in Arizona.
• Experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a medical-surgical environment.
