A prominent 500-bed hospital with a progressive pharmacy department is seeking two travel pharmacists for a contract assignment in Tulare, CA, near Visalia. This opportunity offers a dynamic environment where pharmacists play a key role in ensuring safe and effective inpatient medication management.
Schedule & Duration:
- 13 weeks or longer
- Variable days and afternoon shifts
- 10-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately and promptly
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
- Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring for patients
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize inpatient pharmacotherapy
- Utilize Cerner IT systems to support pharmacy operations
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid California Pharmacist license required
- Strong inpatient pharmacy experience
- Full-time availability preferred
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records is highly advantageous
