A prominent 500-bed hospital with a progressive pharmacy department is seeking two travel pharmacists for a contract assignment in Tulare, CA, near Visalia. This opportunity offers a dynamic environment where pharmacists play a key role in ensuring safe and effective inpatient medication management.

Schedule & Duration:

  • 13 weeks or longer
  • Variable days and afternoon shifts
  • 10-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify medication orders accurately and promptly
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
  • Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring for patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize inpatient pharmacotherapy
  • Utilize Cerner IT systems to support pharmacy operations

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid California Pharmacist license required
  • Strong inpatient pharmacy experience
  • Full-time availability preferred
  • Experience with Cerner electronic health records is highly advantageous
