Inpatient Pharmacist - Contract

Job Description

A hospital in the Tulsa market is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week travel assignment with the potential to become a permanent team member. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists with hospital experience who enjoy working in a collaborative long-term acute care and rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities
Verify medication orders and ensure safe, accurate dispensing
Supervise pharmacy technicians and support daily pharmacy operations
Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapy
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and medication safety standards

Work Hours
Day shifts
8-hour shifts
Full-time schedule
13-week assignment with temp-to-hire potential

Experience
Previous inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
LTAC or rehabilitation experience is a plus
Strong clinical communication skills
Experience with medication order verification preferred

Education
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy

Other Qualifications
Active and valid Oklahoma Pharmacist License
Ability to work independently in a hospital environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Available to start ASAP
