Pharmacist - Ukiah, CA

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 25-bed critical access hospital in Clear Lake, CA, offering a 13-week assignment with an ASAP start. This contract role features day shifts working four 10-hour days per week, with scheduling flexibility available through the Director of Pharmacy to accommodate block scheduling preferences.

Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification ensuring accurate and timely processing of medication orders
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow and compliance with protocols
• Consult with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient medication regimens
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles in patient care and dosing adjustments
• Utilize EPIC and Omnicell systems for electronic health records and medication dispensing

Qualifications:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in a critical access or similar setting
• Ability to commit to full-time hours throughout the assignment
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
