Pharmacist | Upper Marlboro, Maryland

A Home Infusion Clinical Pharmacist opportunity is available for a 60-day assignment focused on delivering specialized pharmacy services in a home infusion setting. This role involves direct management of IV compounding and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) preparations while overseeing pharmacy technicians to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Schedule:

• Wednesday to Friday
• 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile compounding of IV medications, including TPN formulations
• Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians involved in compounding processes
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and internal protocols related to home infusion therapy
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy in a home setting

Qualifications:

• Recent experience in home infusion pharmacy practice
• Recent, hands-on expertise in sterile compounding procedures
• Active and clear Maryland pharmacy license
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage pharmacy technicians effectively
