Pharmacist in Vado, NM

This opportunity seeks two experienced pharmacists for a travel assignment based in Las Cruces, NM. Both positions involve 12-hour shifts, offering a consistent rotation schedule to support work-life balance.

Position 1:

• Schedule: 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off

Position 2:

• Schedule: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off

Assignments begin as soon as possible and extend for approximately 13 weeks. The facility utilizes Meditech for information technology systems, so familiarity with this platform is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients
• Review prescriptions for proper dosage and potential drug interactions
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication plans
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards
• Provide excellent patient counseling and education about medication use
